Terms of Service
Effective October 7, 2026
These terms apply to your use of CaseScan, a Shopify POS application provided by Dibbuhl. By installing or using CaseScan, you agree to these terms.
Service
CaseScan lets merchants associate a barcode with a Shopify product variant and a quantity so that scanning through the CaseScan POS extension can add that quantity to the current cart.
Merchant responsibilities
- You are responsible for the accuracy of your barcode mappings, quantities, product configuration, pricing, taxes, and inventory.
- You must test mappings before relying on them in live checkout operations.
- You are responsible for ensuring products and variants are active, published to Point of Sale, and available at the intended POS location.
- You must use CaseScan in accordance with Shopify's terms and applicable law.
Availability
We aim to keep CaseScan available and reliable, but uninterrupted operation is not guaranteed. Shopify, device connectivity, POS software, hosting providers, and other third-party systems can affect availability.
Billing
Paid plans, trials, renewals, cancellations, and charges are handled through Shopify's app billing systems and are subject to the pricing shown in Shopify when you subscribe.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CaseScan is provided without warranties beyond those that cannot legally be excluded. Dibbuhl is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of the app, including losses caused by incorrect merchant configuration or third-party service interruptions.
Changes and termination
We may update CaseScan or these terms as the service evolves. You can stop using CaseScan by cancelling the applicable Shopify app plan and uninstalling the app.
